OT: SEC or Pac 10?

off topic question.....which college football conference is better? The SEC or Pac 10? I personally believe the SEC is best.

I agree. I wonder why Pac 10 players struggle in the NFL as of late. They dont know how to play defense in the Pac.

SEC definitely! PAC-10 usually has a team or 2 besides USC that is decent. SEC typically has at least 4-5 teams in the TOP 20 every year.

Love SEC football, more pro style, but also love the smash mouth of the Big-10, go Penn State, Love Joe Pa and the fact they have no names on the jerseys, all white helmets, and when they score a TD they drop the ball and run back to the sideline....none of this dancing around like soul train and shit.....

Gotta go SEC. Pac-10 has those 2 or 3 teams that can play with anybody but the SEC is deeper. Football seems to be taken more seriously down south.

Football is taken WAY more seriously down south, midwest or out east. You don't see the kind of collapses in games that "lack motivation." There is no such thing with those schools; they will humiliate you however and whenever given the chance: no billshit like what happened in the 2004 holiday bowl. And by the way to all the cal fans, ask yourselves why michigan deserved to be there... and why shouldn't it have been texas v. california.

no they are not the shit - if USC didn't have such a pussy schedule they would never win NCs. There is no way they would have survived: LSU, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Alabama last year. SEC>>Pac10... but then again PAC10 isn't even in second place...

That is true; there are two teams in the pac-10 that have the philosopy, and that's UCLA and USC. Definately the best of the pac-10 that can compete decently well against most good teams.

This is true; them and UCLA are the only ones who have the philosophy when it comes to football. I'm sure all my dirty south bros will know what I'm talking about! That's why they are good.

AS a former UCLA player I must say the competitors in both the SEC and PAC-10 are phenomenal. The level of dedication it takes to play at the NCAA level in any conference is very high. It doesn't matter where an athlete plays in college, their dedication is what carries over to the next level. But on a pure level of talented young men alone, I'd have to say I like the Big XII the best. That followed by the PAC-10 and SEC, in no particular order.
