Who else hates Windows here?? I'm running a dual boot Windows XP/Mandrake 8.1 setup. Linux is awesome wish there were more cool games for it. Other boring stuff 1.2 gig AMD Athlon Thunderbird, ABIT KT7A motherboard, 256 megs RAM, NVidia MX-400 video card, Canon scanner and printer, webcam,Sony CD writer. Build my computers from shows soon time to upgrade again.....................kinda curious what everyone else here runs??

I browse the web with a G4 running OS9.
I hide hehind a firewall running Trusted Solaris.
I have an Ingrian i140 for use a content encryption.

I don't hate windows, I just prefer my client machines to be *my* client not my boss. :)

The VIC 20 was/is, by far, the best damn thing since 9 1/2 floppies!!

A 196.7GFlop HP SuperDome/Hyperplex system running hp-ux of course. I use it for surfing elite and serving porn on IRC.

Naw, HP-UX eats too much cycle time paging and the OS is bloated.

GO with an E10000, 64 processors, 124Gb RAM and a couple of A5000 network storage arrays.

HP-UX is becoming the Novell of this decade.

No offense to HP, they had a good run in CIC niche, made great headway with threading and parallel processing. But then, Novell had some great ideas too.

SSEM, or the "Baby!" It big, but it keeps going and going.....
