For numerous reasons we generally advise that time on = time off. Although this sucks for steady gains, over time it results in the net gain of lean mass. One question that keeps popping into my head is how to optimize this time on = time off. Of couse the half-life of different anabolics surely influences the duration of the cycle, (e.g. 10 on 10 off for a deca cycle), but do you think that short acting anabolics may be a better route?
For example, taking this principle to an extreme, one could take 25mg/day dbol every other day and still comply with the time on = time off. Would this result in better gains all around? What about maybe a 4 week dbol/fina cycle with 4 weeks off in between? This would allow you to do almost 7 cycles a year compared to two 10 week cycles.
Any thoughts?
