Opinions on my macro nutritional break-out?

I'm trying to cut a few lbs of fat (maybe 5 or so) and decided to keep track of everything I ate today to see what my intake is. I'm 5'9", 175 lbs, about 10% BF and work out 90-120 min 5-6 days a week...lifting, biking, swimming. I ended up with 176g prot, 133g fat, 203g carbs, 2625 calories. The fat came primarily from olive oil (28 grams), flax oil (15 grams), peanuts (28 grams), and dark chocolate (8 grams). Carbs were primarily from fresh fruit (74 grams), whole wheat pasta (34 grams), whole wheat bread (30 grams), and milk (44 grams). I love my milk so I'm not likely to give it up...one pint with my Am shake and one pint with dinner/post workout. I wasn't expecting my prot to be that low or my fat to be that high. tonight wasn't a typical dinner though...pasta is rare plus my meat of choice was turkey sausage (relatively high in fat). I'd normally have chicken/pork/beef and no carbs for dinner. I'm also taking Xenedrine NRG...I loved the original RFA-1 but I'm undecided on the NRG. Should I make any significant changes..does anything seem out of line?

5lbs is easy to lose... you could probably do it by just cutting your carbs slightly for a couple of weeks, if it even takes that long. Every body functions differently, so you have to experiment to figure out how yours uses its macros.

In my opinion, that's way too much fat. You might want to try a 40/40/20 (pro/carb/fat) split. The easiest way I've found to keep track of that is http://www.fitday.com. I think if you cut your fruit down to one or two servings per day, bring your fat intake way down, and up your protein that would take off that 5lbs in no time.

There are other things to be picked apart, but I think this is a good place to start ;)

Thanks. Both my fat and carb intake were higher than usual yesterday due to my pasta and sausage dinner. I'd estimate a typical day would be more along the lines of: 200g prot, 110g fat, 170g carbs, ~2600 calories. I only eat 2-3 fruits per day...a banana, and apple, and some grapes for example. I'm sure I could drop the weight if I wanted to cut back on some things but as long as nothing is obviously wrong I'm willing to accept an extra couple weeks to reach my goal if it means enjoying my diet a little more.
