Opinion for Buisness name

Which name do you like best for a personal training studio

Which one do you guys like the most for a personal training studio. It would be P.T. and nutritional consulation with body fat assessments
 
eng or tech.. I don't like the others

The word Body should be a must
 
The last one. It covers all types of people. Loosing weight, gaining weight, etc...
The others sound to formal. Might go over theri heads.
 
"none of the above" doesn't sound like a good name for a company IMHO
 
Fusion Fitness sounds wierd. I am not too crazy about the others. "Bodies under construction" sounds not enticing. (yea, yea grammar... just stream-of-consciousness typing LOL)
 
I like fusion fitness...sounds new age, and you know the fatty wimmins will be all over that one.

or you could name it "Weeds R us", then they'll know you own it
 
19 replies and only 6 votes. I thought I'd get a bigger response than this. Thanks to the peeps who gave me their opinion. Any others would be appreciated. I posted this on 2 other forums and got some pretty good responses. So far it seems like most people like fusion fitness.

I figured the women would like that name the best. lol at weeds r us. Dont need my clients knowing that I like to blaze up. Besides its been almost 2 weeks since I smoked, thats the longest ive gone in years.

Why do you think that.
Im meeting with my accountant today to get an LLC and I still havent decided which one to go with. I posted this question on a few other boards and most liked fusion fitness, I still like bodies under construction the best, because of the same reasons ksharp and yonkers mentioned. Anyone else with feedback would be appreciated. This is also assuming that these names arent takin
 
Fusion fitness will definitely work best on the wimmens, but not so well on any serious lifters.

Bodies under construction is too lengthy. People don't like long business names.
 
Company and product names of today are done on what is considered "destination" marketing. They're designed to unique words that evoke an emotion - Verizon an Cingular are perfect examples.

IMHO I would side step the traditional names as you have exemplified above and take words related to the company's destination and come up with a blended word.

What will your client "feel" as a result of your product/service. Work in those words as well as part of the example.

Those are my thoughts exactly, and most of my clients will be women, at least thats what it is now.

This is just an example of a starting point for a business name after a few minutes of thinking about it OK? .....If strength / fitness / health / mind & body are the goals of your clients - Inergevity - (Inner , Energy, Longevity)

Try playing around with various words related to your business services and the destination of your clients
 
Progressive Fitness

Honestly, the above are OK, but not really the best you can get, IMO. Fusion Fitness is good, but what the hell does that mean? I agree men wouldn't want it as much as women. The only reason it is good is it sounds good. That's it.

Please keep looking.

You need to write down ALL that your company will do. Write write write... then take that and get a name from it. Your company's soul must be in the name. Not just a catchy name. Start writing you fucking mother fucker! Fucking Fuck!
 
my reason behine fusion fitness it fusing together all 3 components(weight training, cardio, nutrition) into your lifestyle.

But Ill keep writing.

I like progressive fitness, but it reminds me of the insurance company progressive insurance.

Makes sense.

You need something that would be an advertisement within the name. That would be a huge plus if you can do it. Not all businesses can have that.

Like "Shop Rite" supermarket. That's not just a name, it's an ad for the store within the name... or something like "QuickCheck", also an ad... You know, instead of "Bob's supermarket". If you can get that, it's a plus. People would tend to gravitate towards that. They get enticed by the name. Fusion Fitness, although good, doesn't entice.

Listen, I'm not trying to discourage you. I'm just pushing you to try and do better. If yopu can't come up with anything, then by all means use Fusion fitness. There's still time. There's still time to save the world!!! do it. Good luck.

You have to pick a catchy name that tells what you're selling in a single moment.

I have seen so many business go under because the name of the business gave you no idea what they were selling.

People give you about one second of their attention as they drive past your business to read what you sell, if they don't get it you lose them forever.

Same with any advertising you do. A name is a very important subject and not to be taken lightly. It can literally make or break you.

Also research says that business names that have a K sound in them tend to attract attention and stay in peoples minds better than names with non sounding K letters in them. This is no BS, think Coca Cola, Kodak, Kohls, kawasaki, kinkos, Comcast, Costco etc.
 
I went about it by voting of of a quick impression. FF just quickly sounded like the place I would want to go to work out and tell others about also.
 
There was a place called Fitness Factory around here. That sounded pretty good, but it was a gym, so it's perfect for that.


Why is your place going to be better than the others'? What can you do, and what will you do differently that will attract these people to both come and stay at your place of business? Get that word.... and use it in your name if you can.

'Greed Fitness'. awesome. lol jk
 
I've seen pretty much all of those names in the different cities that I have lived in. You have to find a name that sets you apart. Not very helpful, I know. Good luck with the name hunt.
 
Hey everyone, thanks for your opinions and help. I went with Fusion Fitness. I think it flowed better than all of them. Having Fitness in the name already tells people what kind of business it is. Some good advice people gave me so thanks. K will go out to you.

Avidinternet- interesting about the K sound, never heard that before.
