OOPS, I injected air.

You are still alive LOL..Nothing will happen with small amount of air. But if you injected a large amount of air like 2cc, that could be deadly....

minimal bubbles, as long as its not directly into a vein... most times pose no risk whatsoever. Obviously not recommended tho, lol

2cc's would not be deadly in muscle tissue, and actually studies have shown that it takes a lot more than that to kill you even if directly injected into a vein. Not that it is a practice I would recommend to anyone.

Glad others know this too. So many sooooo worried about a little bubble or two. If you think about it, if you do your pins like I do which is draw with an 18g and then put on my 23 or 25, I just poke, aspirate and shoot, there is air in that pin, so chance are you've been doing it all along. Unless your one of those I get all the air out of the syringe and let a little gear dribble down the pin to "lubricate" it people then you dont count.

i did aspirate always do. i wasn't to worried just never done that before. I don't think i'll do the intra rectal injection. EXIT ONLY!

WIth the smaller shots I do (1cc or less) I always keep a small amount of air in the pin so I can make sure I get every last drop pushed through.
