most colleges offer online courses for almost every class/major.

you could feasibly take every course you need to do online at a major university....but of course you'd have to cough up what the real tuition price is!

This does not apply to science or mathematics.

*edit* Real degrees the real sciences. Specialty and tech degrees are more for job-specific training and networking purposes. E.g., all the tech schools like ITT tech around here are nothing many jobs won't train you in... it's more for the networking the tech school allows you to do. General 2-year associate schools around here like MATC would probably be doable online, but it's kind of an extension of high school with special tech stuff. There's no real lab work or anything beyond basic mathematics.

Post-secondary schools and institutions are popping up all over the place. Why? Because they're a great business venture and money maker. Know what you're paying for. Don't go to a non-accredited school. Know what your potential future employers are looking for.

I go to Univ of Phoenix when I feel like it. Most legit schools require 1 year of on-campus learning for a degree.
