hey wats up bros...i have a question concerning dnp. First of all its been 1 wk and 1 day since cessation of my dnp cycle. After loosing the water i came out loosing around 10 pds on the scale ...but lately ive noticed something weird. Im actually bigger now than before i started the dnp. I mean my face is definetely skinnier and i lost some fat...but my chest , back and shoulders seem to have blown up....im actually a little too big and im having trouble fitting into my shirts. Im actually even having trouble walking with my arms straight down since my back and shoulders make me walk funny. Now ive heard about an anabolic rebound comin off dnp but this is ridiculous. Is this wat it is? Or is it still retained water or wat is it? I got a part for an upcoming gig ( hopefully...) but they had told me not to get bigger...how can i combat this or tone it down some???...i dont wanna loose out on this opprtunity...or does it simply go away by itself...please help me out if youve got any answers or similiar experiences. thanx

Shit- If someone gave you a hundred dollar bill would you complain? I mean you lost your fat, you gained muscle it sounds like.... How can you complain? Anyway, with this whole gig thing, I don't understand why people would tell you you can't get bigger. I would just be thankful with my results!

Its a great illussion. You appear bigger because of the fat and water you lost. More defintition = a larger appearence.

There has been a lot of discussion of a sort of "anabolic rebound" effect while coming off a DNP cycle.

I too am curious as to whether this is actually true, or if the muscles just become super-saturated with water (and therefore appear larger) while the subcutaneous water empties more quickly (so you look ripped because the skin is thin faster than the water depletes from the muscles).

The important thing is - are the gains from this anabolic rebound effects "keepable" or do they simply get pissed away (hehe).

Naaa. It's not just 'supercompensation' through glycogen, substrates (such as creatine) and water being put back in the muscle. iT's beyond that as Dan Duchaine has said before. Your lifts go way up, among other things.
