One pre-Train Question posed

This is been tossed around on the diet board, but half of you guys never frequent the place, so here it is....you train in the evening...what do you chow on before? PW MEAL? Mucho K-
 
im lucky and get to work out late mornings..i would eat normal throughout the day have some carbs pre w/o..and post workout its safe to consuem carbs as long as it is immediately after..just my 02
 
Just get a low-fat, moderate carb, high protein meal in like an hour before. Try a sweet potatoe and chicken, or some oats and an egg-white omlette or something. If you use and MRP, shoot for the same macro ratios and take it like a half hour before.
 
post workout
10 oz grape juice
10g creatine (experimenting with it, i ran it once before with var so hard to tell if it did anything)
400mg r-ala
1 cup oats with raisins
whey shake about 70g pro
thats got about 130g of carbs 70 g pro fat is low (6 in the oats and small amt in the shake)
xtra glutamine 5 g

400g of RALA?? You that confident in the product..? 1 cup oats pre or post cooking? Steel cut? Quick?

as far the r-ala goes if i dont eat enough carbs and take it i feel extremely light headed as though i havent had carbs in days..so my guess is that it is clearing the carbs from my blood..
I use quaker not the 1 minute the one that says to cook for 5 mins and thats 1 cup dry

SInce I have been training late night, I was thinking about 1/2 cup oats, cup of skim, a tb of ANPB and some cottage cheese about an hour before.....train.....whey, glucose, creat, gluta. immmidiately after.....then my final meal about 15minutes before bed would be some fiberous veggies, 3-4cups of peanuts, casein shake, and some skim........decent?
 
Met-RX BIG 100
4g fat
50g carbs (complex & simple)
27g protein
more or less around 340 cals well balanced

Works great for me (and tastes damn good) 30-45 before workout

looks good to me..im not saying its the right way to go but i really dont have any preference for a pre workout meal..i dont like to be full but i just eat normal and workout 2 hours later..it keeps the puking to a minimum on squat day lol
