I'm not trying to make fun of this guy or call him out or anything, but I thought that it was important to tell his story.

This guy sent a source some money (I'm assuming he sent it express cuz he said that he waived the signature). He said that he used the confirmation number to confirm the source received his money. He emailed the source to make sure. The source requested the confirmation number (normal procedure to know who sent what), but this guy told the source that he doesn't know it cuz he threw it away after he confirmed the delivery!!!!

Moral of the story, this guy is SOL. Never throw away the confirmation number until you receive you goods or else you have no proof that you even sent the money. In a way, I'm hoping that this guy is just trying to reverse scam cuz I refuse to believe that someone could really be this stupid.

PS. even though he said that he waived the signature he claims that he got a name that signed for it? Kind of weird, but the PO has done stupid shit for years.

cant he just go back to wherever he sent the money from and ask them to give him the confirmation number again ... im sure they keep records

Yes, he probably could if he were telling the truth. Or if he used internet explorer to put in the number he'd just have to go back to the site, (making sure he goes to his tools menu, click on internet options, then content, then autocomplete, then make sure that forms and usernames and passwords are checked) then double click on the box in which he entered the number and it will appear.:p
