Well its now my final year of college and I am gonna get fit if it kills me...I have been way way way overweight for so long I caught myself talking shit about myself. For those that can help or wish to atleast help me through this..Thanks..

The Story:
234 lbs
5 foot 9
Medium Large Build
Been Overweight for a long time
Tried almost everything and still can't lose weight

By the way I am a college student and therefore I can only eat what I get so I won't be eating perfect quantities and specific foods...Water,protein and good ole fashioned excercise are my weapons...

The plan is to eat reasonably and try to stay away from carbs and fats. Workout 5-6 days a week and try to do atleast 20 minutes of cardio excersice a day...Remember that I am way out of shape and hours of cardio aren't gonna keep me interested for long....


Day 1
--------------
Tryed to eat every 5-6 meals a day but definetly hard to do
Drank 1 gallon+ water
Worked out today chest
Did 15 minutes of cardio but could have gone more
Attended boring classes(I hate these)


Well I posted this in this thread so i can have something to look at everyday and keep me aware of what I am trying to accomplish here...It's not perfect and anything that can help is appreciated....Feel okay to raze me as it is a form of motivation to me...HAHA(Well some razing ateleast)

Oh yeah to tell you my troubles just look at my profile and you will notice that I am 210 or something of that nature and that was only a couple months ago so you can see my dilema....

dont try to do to much at once you'll burn yourself out remember last semester:p and stay away from eatting dinner at the rock pizza and french fries are not what u need. also make sure u take your vitamins everyday. I would start working out 4x a week and do cardio 3-4 days a week a 20min a session and just slowly increase your time,,,its easy. and make sure you get at least 8 hrs of sleep, and cut out the beer but im sure u kinw that already.
well good luck with this goal of yours hopefully u will stick with it and remember to take things slow this time!
 
Bro, good job for deciding to better yourself.

I would still be a fat out of shape no musclely Fuck, if I one day didn't come to my senses and wake the fuck uP.

This decision won't just lead to a better physical health/strength but a better level of Mental health/strength as well.

Dude not a flame at all but, why cant you eat clean because your in college. Get a gorge forman, and on Sunday (or whatever) cook 30-40 chicken breast and put them in containers and throw them in your little frig. That way all you have to do is take them with you to all your classes.. Congrats on your decision to better yourself. I too, know that it isnt always easy, but what alternative do you really have? You want to have a family someday dont you? Well do it for them because you need to be the best man you can be. Anything else is unacceptable. You can do it.... Also, dont eat white flour and no more pepsi etc. ALso, post your diet maybe we can help. You can do this bro! Dont give up or I'll have to find you and kick the Shitbrick out of you :D :D

THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS!! I did not have a foreman in college, and I know colleges are not all the same, but I at VERY well. We always had SOMETHING that a health conscious eater could eat, and protein shakes, bars and cans of tuna finish up a great day between meals! Everyone, unless your college has no cafeteria, or there is some other extenuating circumstance, please stop using "I'm in college" as an excuse to not eat well!

Well..The reason that I posted I was in college and stuff is to let all know that I have a cafateria and I am trying to eat as good as I can....The reason for this is I see a lot of diets in here that require purchasing large quantities of things and this just isn't possible for me...I will try to do my best to take all advice under consideration..I will also post later all that I have done today as well....I am in between classes now so I will wait till later after my workout...Thanks All....This is truly going to help...
 
cans of tuna are cheap. steal a blender from home and get some meal replacements. I have faith in you
 
Day 2

Well Tried like hell to increase cardio and succeeded all be it a small increase which to me was okay...Today was back day and boy that felt good(yeah right)...Well here is a typical meal day for me now..

Meal 1-->2 chicken patties,4 eggs,veggies..

Meal 2-->Post Workout(Protein Shake), 1 cup rice, 2 chicken patties

Well this is about it have to get to the store today and get some tuna and maybe some other things just to keep eating meals throughtout the day....Still drinking that gallon to gallon and a half a day....

Well another day await and I'm gonna start to post only every Monday so I don't create alot of crap stuff...I will still reply and post stuff about diet change and things of that nature..

(Another day in the book another day of bettering myself)

dont eat at the rock for dinner, all they have is fatting foods and u know this. stick with center ice, I know its always the same food but u cant go wrong with chicken breasts, rice, salads, and pasta vs. pizza, french fries, hush puppies, fryed pork and the list goes on and on.

Well stiffler if you can get me through this shit I will give ya some fat karma for kicking my ass everyday and helping me lose this weight.....:mad:

Well everyone I broke out the old wallet today and bought out the local mejier of all there tuna fish....This should come in handy to get those extra meals that I just can't seem to get anywhere else....

Well now its just a matter of sticking too it and getting that cardio up to past 20 minutes at a time...I can pretty much do this now so I feel a little better...

I saw that other new post about moving to a dorm and there are some ggod things out there..

The cafe is an endless supply of chicken and eggs so go to it....Also there are many choices of veggies and such....The only thing like everybody said is getting something from the store even if its just tuna to substitute for meals from the cafe...

Wel later all my first report comes on Monday..
 
Good for you SB... I found Lean Cuisine's great for losing weight. Theyre healthy, portioned and dont taste that bad either.

and if your workout partner is taking a week off because of medical reasons, that doesnt meen u can take it off too. stay motivated and remember that u are doing this for yourself....so stick with it this week!!!:mad:
 
Well stiffler you are right in that category...Although I have been sick for the last 5 days...I am down to 224 which you can see was very unhealthy for me and i think is the reason I got sick...I will continue my cardio and my workouts as soon as I can, but i dare not push myself for fear of becomming really sick again..Thanks for all the support and I will post again soon..
