One Day Until Carb Up Day On Ckd Need Help!?!?!?!?!?!

I have two questions pertaining to the CKD diet??

1. I just started on monday and am supposed to be taking in 2,225 but have been consuming 2,700 will I still lose weight that way even though I am not taking in almost no carbs??????What's a good high protein food with not a lot of carbs???

2. On your carb up days do you still some what follow "diet" or eat whatever and just watch your fat intake????What are some good foods to eat PB and Peanuts are high in carbs 6-7 grams per 1/4 cup and if you are on a low carb diet that's not good....NEED SOME HELP PLEASE:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
1. If you are "supposed" to be eating 2225..then eat 2225. You need the deficit so your body has to tap into its storage. Chicken, Tuna, beef, Eggs etc etc.

2. Carb up day is high carbs very low fat. Peanut butter is not a good choice. Carb drinks with glucose or glucose polymers, Cereal(my favorite) oatmeal with raisins, pasta...etc etc.
 
I read mr. X's article and other ones some guys said that they eat, ice cream, mc donalds, anything they want is that good to do or not even close....why wouln't pb be a good choice because of the fat content....So is there anything else I should know before my carb up day...the carb up day is actually a day and a hlaf right or just one full day it said from your last workout on fri unitl sat at 12 midnight??????/anyone else have any good ideas
 
heres the thing..been doing it for a while...best bet is to have a free meal or 2 free meals that day...or if you decide to carb up, maybe carb up with not so much fat..usually what i do, is go to dunking donuts, pig out, go to Burger King, and eat like a pig, that instead of doing a carb up day, i do a carb up weekend...which fucks me over..i still loose weight gradually if i start again on monday, but just be careful..if your taking appetite supressents, i guess keep taking them so you don't go on an eating rampage!
 
Hahahah nice nice so you eat like that, if I do that will I still lose weight or no...the diet is working pretty good and it's only been 4 1/2 days but I don't understand the carb up day I mean I do I just don't want it to hinder my gains the only thing I really want to eat is some ceral and ice cream I have been craving that for so long....would that be bad....better then Dunkin Donuts and BK..hahah but I wish my metabolism was that good I could do that..ANy more ideas from my fellow lifters?????????
 
Come on guys just give some good ideas or just tell me what you guys do or might do if on this??????????????
 
Listen...this how I do it. If you are going to do a CKD..do it hardcore for 4 weeks. Do not eat fatty shit on your carb up day. You still get to eat cereal and pasta etc. If you must eat a Ben and Jerry's low fat ice cream which has 10 g of fat in the whole carton.

You have to have a vision of what you want to look like and you have to do what ever it takes to reach that goal.

One question:

WHAT IS BETTER 1) BURGER KING OR 2) BEING RIDICULOUSLY SHREDDED.

If you answered 2 then lets get serious. FUCK CHEATING.

Yeah your definatly right I wasn't saying that I was going to eat all that shitty food all I said is that I read different things that said eat whatever you want then something that said watch what you eat, then another that said eat what you want but watch your fat..so I got a little confused...but thanks for the help strongisland....Maybe you could help me with this question...I was reading Mr. X article on it but it didn't make sence it told me to for the first day only take in 2,075 calories with only 77 grmas of protien and that kept decresing by day.....I was following another way of doing it that jsut went by calories and fat not protein....which should I follow Mr. X didn't give me enough carbs or calories and I'm also on fin, winny, aratest, and eq so the proteina and calories are too low....any idea on what to do??????
 
I think CKD suck if you are on a cycle. You want to have good workouts while on...and you can't have good workout unless you have carbs. In fact with a CKD you should only workout two days a week....that sucks.

But if you must do a CKD then just follow Mr. Xs diet to a t.

But if I were you I would do another diet.
 
Yeah I know what you are saying about the CKD diet I only have one week or so left on my cycle so I wanted to get a jump start you said to follow Mr. X article which I did print out and read but my question is...Lets say that I am not on a diet then day one to only take in 2,075 calories and 77 grmass of carbs and day two 1,896 and even less protein, how is that possible????that is not even a diet I should just starve myself I...I believe what your saying if that's what you did...unless I am doing something wrong???I'll post a thread about it hope to hear from you on that thread or this one....
