that exact thing happened to my neighbor....50 bucks well spent.
 
A lot of non-deformed chipmunks steal souls too. It's just that the deformed ones tend to be more bitey and mean.

Last year my cat dumped a dead chipmunk in my bed, right next to my head, while I was sleeping. Imagine waking up to the sight and smell of a dead chipmunk staring you in the face.
