I got my desktop back from Geeksquad. everything is fine with it now (gonnna sell it on ebay since I bought this laptop)

I wanted to get pictures off of the hardrive and when I put a disk in it says the :A drive isnt formatted and asks if i want to format the disk. i click ok and then it says the ID address is incorrect on the disk. wtf?

how do I save jpeg files onto a disk on my old computer so i can load them up on this one?

hook the computer up to the net and email them to yourself, then open on your laptop if you don't have a cd burner.

If you have a MP3 player that can be used as a removable disc, use that to transport the files.

It's probably a bad floppy. Given their worth of about $.03 just try another one or get a removable drive to use.

you most likely have a bad floppy or the the floppy controller on the mobo is bad, you can connect the two LAN ports if you have a cross-over ethernet cable, but that would be a pain, You need to find someone with a jumpdrive you can borrow(mini USB HDD) that you can transfer them easily, and even store them on there
