It comes in two vials which have to be mixed together to become an active solution. I think it is probably better ued in small doses throughout the cycle as opposed to one large dose at the end of a cycle. Something along the lines of 1000 iu every two weeks during the cycle top prevent testicular atrophy from ever really setting in...

I'm starting to agree with the preventative therapy theory. 10,000 ius in 3 weeks at the end of my last cycle felt like incredible overkill.

I think LAWNSAVER advocates 500 iu every other Sat. and Sun. (it may have been 1000 iu each day though). I think the preventative approach looks better (but than again I get alot of atrophy and actually get pain without using hcg) I am basically learning from LAWNSAVER on this one and trying some little modifications to see what works for me, but following his basic guidelines.

And bumpo I believe it lasts ~2 months after mixed when refrigerated, so basically what you mix should be used during that particular cycle...

Yeah lawnsaver had a great post on this, I will have to talk to him just before I start. my cycle lasts for 12 weeks not counting post cycle, so if I mix the hcg around week 4 I should be golden.

Hmm...

When I do HCG I usually do 5000iu in a 3 week period...

I do 1000iu day one... then 500iu every 3 days, until the 18th day... that is roughly 3 weeks... then I will pop in the final 1000 on the last shot on day 21.

It works out well... but yeah, I can see how 10,000iu would be overkill.

Well I just relooked up his post of steroidology and he and SWALE were saying 500-1000 iu every sat. and sun. throughout the cycle to prevent the atrophy from setting in. Currently I am using 1000 iu every other sat and sun. and it seems to be working well for me (and I am not too worried about too high of test levels as I am running 1 tab of femara eod)

Once mixed hcg is good for 10 weeks if kept refridgerated. Also it is best used in 2-3 week cycles with at least a month off in between. This does not exclude it from being used as a preventive measure however.

12 week cycle:

Week 4-5 500 iu eod
Week 12-13 750-1000 iu eod

I think Lawnsaver may be doing 500-100IU once every 5 days now, but don't hold me to it

Either way, low doses 1x or 2x a week seems like the best way to go.
