on for too long

I think that I have been doing shit for too long. I have been using on and off since 18, and I am 24 now. However, I was just on a cycle of suspension eod, finaplix eod, eg 400mg a week, and metanabols-8 per day.......my gains suck......Do u guys think that my receptors are shot or what.....I think that I am going to come off for a long time so everything is fresh....and how long would u suggest?
 
depends on what you mean on and off, Im not sure cause I don't lknow exactly what all your cycles where like, but if your gains are crap off of fina and suspension something is defiantly wrong, and maybe you should take a break, like 3-6 months.
 
I just finished a 10 week cycle and I was not that happy with my gains.

But it was really because I am burnt out on training, not the gear, not the food, just burnt out and not into it.

As a result my training and my results sucked.
 
I have heard of guys who have been on for 1year + with out a break and they keep gaining. I don't think your reseptors are shot unless you have been on very high amounts of gear for a long time without a break. How was your diet while on the cycle ? Usually, peoples lack of gains come from a poor diet due to the fact that they rely to much on the gear. Just a though and I am not judging you at all cause I do not know the whole situation

MY DIET IS VERY GOOD. I EAT ABOUT 350GMS PROTEIN, 500GMS CARBS, AND 80GMS FAT MOSTLY FROM FLAS OIL AND AVOCADOS......MY PROTEIN IS VERY CLEAN FROM CHICKEN, EGGS AND LEAN RED MEAT, AND CARBS ARE MOSTLY RICE AND OATMEAL FOR BREAKFAST......MAYBE I MIGHT BE OVERTRAINED. HOW WOULD I BE ABLE TO TELL IF I AM OVERTRAINED, AND IF SO...WHAT SHOULD I DO..THANKS GUYS
 
Yes your body needs a rest bad... And your receptors are hidden deep. You need to recover badly. I was once in a similar situation and took 8 months off from juicing. During that time i learned the importance of proper training and eating as well as getting my own testosterone back. I then managed to gain about 5 more pounds of muscle and put on about 10 punds of fat. So at the end of the 8 months i was 260. Then 500 mg of sust only put me up to 280 with a 2 inch drop in waist line, oh hell yeaaa!!! That's when i came full circle and realized the importance of training naturally and taking long time off between cycles. I feel much better too. I no longer have that sick, icky feeling that i always had when on for a long time.
 
I think you should be more conserned about your ability to ever create natural test at this point then if your receptors are saturated. Take some time off.

OVERTRAINING

WHAT ABOUT OVERTRAINING.....I AM GOING TO TAKE LIKE 5 MONTHS OFF.....ALSO, SHOULD I TAKE SOME DECA OR SOMETHING TO KILL THE JOINT PAINS THAT I GET WHEN OFF....OR JUST STAY COMPLETEY SUPER CLEAN. THANKS

I would stay off AAS alltogether and maybe hit some Creatine and L-Glutamin to manitain while off gear. With proper rest and training you should be able to gains a little(the gains will be slow but they will come) then after a certain period you can hop back on Gear

The aches and pains can be remedied by stretching -- not a four second stretch before your workout, but serious stretching, like Kit Laughlin explains in his terrific book STRETCHING AND FLEXIBILITY.

If you don't stretch enough during your layoff, the muscles shorten and tighten and everything starts to hurt like hell. I only recently discovered this, but now I've started putting some time and effort into stretching, the results are so fantastic I want to tell everybody and recommend that clever Aussie Laughlin's book.

Sounds to me like overtraining may be your problem. It's incredibly easy to overtrain on AS. I did recently. I was losing weight, losing my gains ... so i just stopped training and basically ate and slept for two whole days. Totally turned me around. Everything's cool again.
 
Thanks guys! I am going to buy that book tommorow....let you guys know what happens.....I also took a week off from training...came back to the gym today and I feel great. Thanks again
