On Cycle Hairloss prevention - Finasteride?

Hey - I'm sure this has been covered around here before, so forgive me if this is repetitive. I didn't find exactly what I was looking for by trying the search.

First off - I'm not really prone to hair loss, but recently I have noticed a little shedding and it has me concerned for upcoming cycle plans.

Do any of you take something like propecia while on cycle, then stop taking it? I seem to have read conflicting reports that once you are on it, you have to stay on it or the hair you 'saved' whilst on cycle will fall out once you stop taking it.

Regarding finasteride -

how would you recommend dosing it?
Is the research chemical liquid version effective? (from AG guys for example)
Any other products for preventing hairloss on cycle and how to dose?

I'm expecting several recommendations to use the N2Shampoo but I have not once see it in stock so I"m just going to assume it is not an option.

Thanks bros

Finasteride is prescribed as a medication to help transexual men preparing to undergo sex change surgery. Generally speaking, I don't want to be taking drugs used to help turn men into women.

BS. I've taken 1 mg a day for near 10 years and I'm the only male in my family with a full head of hair, my younger brother included.

Go to your doctor and get a 5 mg prescription for finasteride, generic for proscar. Split the pills into 1 or 1.25 mgs. I pay under $20 a year taking it every day.

Any side effects in those 10 yrs? Thanks

Nothing's gone on that I can directly attribute to taking it. There are people that thinks it contributes to side effects, and the have chat forums about it etc, but I'm pretty oblivious to what chemicals are doing to my body to begin with. I've never taken a break, so I dont know if all my hair would fall out if I stopped, buuuut I'm not about to find out.

This is interesting stuff. I noticed a little hair loss on a slightly harsher cycle I previously did (tren etc), I wasnt to sure if it was the gear or the fact I'm getting older, or maybe the combination of both.

Let's get this thread to rocking .....

Shameless bump - any other opinions on cycling hair loss products while taking AAS?

Are there any natural products that you could take year round to help in this area?

Again, I"m not prone to it, but noticing a bit of shedding and thinning and I'm trying to be as proactive as possible.

Thanks!
