I took optimum nutrition 100% whey protien today, i took a scoop of cookies and creme(its not to bad) mixed with 7oz of milk. what do you drink it with/flavor?
 
I use to drink Designer Whey. Now I drink ON Whey Strawberry and ON Chocolate Casein.

I have the whey for my pre & post-workout shakes. I blend them with oats, water & ice. I like it, but I think I will try a different flavor when I run out.

NOW, I :heart: their ON Chocolate Casein powder. I have a shake before bed blended w/ ground flax meal, ice & water. This is my favorite part of the day.
 
Give BSN Lean Dessert proteins a go. Excellent taste. Great quality at a good price. I have had the Banana Nut Bread and Chocolate Coconut, both are excellent. Have it with milk through the day, as an added protein source, and it is excellent.
 
I use ON Pro Complex Rocky Road 2 scoops with 8oz of water. Didn't taste as good when I used more water..

Back when I used ON 100% Whey I mixed 2 scoops Chocalate Mint with 16oz water and it tasted fine. Might taste even better with less water.

I use less water than what is recommended on the container. Blending it with ice, makes a huge difference.

I use soymilk. It definitely tastes better (I assume it tastes better with milk as well). I'm cutting. So if there is room in my cals for the day, I treat myself with the soymilk. If not, I use water.

I like ON 100%. Mixes real well with just ice in a shaker. With strawberry I throw it in a blender with Ice, low fat yogart, and a bananna in the morning. Keeps me feeling good till next meal

Yeah I read that thread too. Even ON's employee's say that thier shit is...well....shit! I must agree with thier casein though. I use thier vanilla with egg protein before bed and it makes a great night time protein shake. I've been using MBI's protein and like that one too, taste great even in water.

ON 100% whey is the biggest scam out there.

I was using some ON 100% whey when we had that thread and I didn't believe it. He said get it tested. I worked for a food processing company at the time that had all the liquid and gas chromatography, hplc and mass spec equipment in house. Unfortunately the resuts weren't good after testing it

What were the results of the test?


And 100% whey is aiding in giving me progressive results in the gym, and I am not new to the lifting scene. I am not saying that it is just becuase of the protein, but so far so good with the taste. So they got my buy for the time being.

plain ol' water. I'd perfer chocolate.
