Olympic bars

hey all,
might sound like a silly question, but I can't remember for my life,

what are the "thinner" grip Olympic barbell's called?
You normally see this kind of bar for bench press??

-the gym I use used to have a few, but then got rid of them, I'm looking to purchase one or too for personal use,

would be great if anybody could help out,

deadlift bars are generally thinner, for better grip arround the bar...
not so sure about the bench bars used in comps as that is definately not my specialty, but if i remember right they were thicker than the DL bar...

Didn't know they were thicker for certain lifts. I though different companies just used different DIAs.
