Older newby seeking advice

Hey Guys:

I am 43M, 155lbs at 19% bf. I just started my first "Real" cycle. I used AS in the past (many years ago) without much success, mostly D and 4 or 5 amps of ??? whenever I could find it. What a waste. Did'nt do it right, didn't eat or work out right, etc.

I believe I got some good advice now mostly on these boards and from the guy who introduced me to EF. My eating and workout schedules are up and ready now. Please check out my program and offer any advice you feel I could use and what I should expect? Thanks!!! It will be MUCH appreciated.

Week 1-10 500 Sust wk
Week 1-5 50mg Dbol day
Week 1-7 50 mg Proviron day

And of course, the post stuff and anti-e's. I read a lot about Milk thistle and Saw palmetto reccomended for guys my age. How much do I take of those and is it necessary?

hey, what's up bro...what's your workout history/routine like? how long you been liftin' and at what intensity? there is still plenty of info we need to give some solid advise.
 
Dude, not to be a bit critical but the BF is kind of high for someone not too heavy? What is the training histroy like?
 
Hey guys: Been working out off an on for over 20 years. Never consistent. Went into biz and never took it to hard core. Met Bill Phillips last year, read his book and started to train at a different level. Only problem, always on the road and never ate right. Take bunches of good food with me and eat while driving now. In the gym 5-6 days a week for past 3 months. The bf??? I have a cheap scale at home that tells me the bf. May not be accurate. I am def not a fat boy and was surprised to see 19. Better get checked at the gym. Hopefully this is enough additional info. Have a great day!!!
 
the bf calculator on those home scales is crap. it asks for height, age, and then weighs you. i guess it makes a calculation from those. it always registers really high for me. i probable put on a good 20lbs of muscle during this cycle and it told
me my bf was higher.

50mg of dbol is not a small dose. I suggest you start with 25mg a day - otherwise the BP headaches, insomnia and back pumps may put you out of commission before you even get going!

SP 360mg and MT 1000mg (or more) daily throughout cycle. (SP is for your prostate and MT protects your liver from the orals.)

I agree, for a first cycle, it may be wise to drop the dbol to 25 mg QD and I would also consider replacing some (not all) of the Test with a little Deca, say 200mg Q week (for us guys > 40, it's more prostate-safe than Test/Dbol and will add a little more esthetic look + will benefit your joints).

yeah they are! They're about as accurate as the "trainers" at the YMCA who take you bf measurements. This one chick calculated my bf to be around 21% :worried: There was no way in hell that was right. Went to another gym and got it tested again.....12%.

My scale at home does the same thing. Consistently tells me I'm in the upper teens. :rolleyes:

Thanks guys. Still so much to learn. Have had a few low grade headaches this week and I never sleep as it is. I figured the first week was too soon for any sides. Your not the first to tell me to drop the D a little. Just anxious to grow, you know?

Somebody else told me to get liv 52 (Can't find it in local health store) instead of MT for now because it may slow me up. He said take the MT post cycle. As far as the Deca, sounds like a good idea. Can I ad it to the 500 sust each week or should I just cut back? I originally was going to do just test at 750 w

Also, short fuse lately. Crediting simple stress. Being conscious of it. Isn't is a little soon for impatience?
