old men at the gym

this is just something that pisses me off. granted im only 24 years old, not huge, not a bodybuilder but i love weight training and exercise which is why im in the gym 4 times a week. i respect those who are older in most cases and guys who know what theyre doin because i agree im no expert and will always look to someone better for advice. one thing that annoys me and i have to rant about though is goin to the gym and the way old men treat younger smaller guys like me. it seems a lot of them have that mentality like "this kid doesnt realize that years ago i was twice his size and worked at the steel mill shoveling soot when i was 11. Kids today are such pussies." For example, i was going to take a sip from the fountain and a guy that looked like he was in his 60s jumped ahead of me to fill up his bottle. I had no problem with that until during the middle of fillin his bottle up he turned, gave me an asshole look and turned back to the fountain to continue filling up his giant bottle. Other things such as me walking into the locker room and me moving to the side slightly when an old man is walkin past me and sayin "excuse me" and smiling trying to be friendly and the old guy just gives me a hard ass look. im sure a lot of u are gonna say "markshark u are a pussy and not a bodybuilder, shows these old men respect and shut the fuck up they can be as ignorant as they want" but im not gonna worship these guys just because they think they deserve something for their age and hardships growin up. Sometimes I hear them bullshitting in the locker room about "how young guys dont know shit" and things like that. Get to know me first and then form an opinion, then maybe these guys might realize that all "young guys" dont think they have all the answers and that theyre untouchable. I know where i stand. Anyway thats it just had to get that out.
