or maybe it is me....but why is it SOOO important to know EXACTLY what you want to do and where you want to work with an MBA degree......?

I "think" I want to go back for finance...more for my everyday life and own business practices....but also to obtain something out there in the job world that also pertains to it.....but I'm not for sure.

if you go to mba.com they feed you all bunch of BS and try to sell you a $50 program to help you figure out if you are ready and help you figure out what you want to do.

There must be an easier way to make an extra 50K a year.

My dad got his MBA about 10 years ago and it helped him make an assload more money at his current job. It jumped him into middle management at Georgia Power and six figures. It's kind of a generalizist degree but it impresses a lot of employers.
