there is nothing wrong with education loans. You typically don't start paying until AFTER you are done with school. You may qualify for subsidized loans where the interest is paid for you while you are a student. Then you get a 30 year term to pay them off.

Usually you apply for a school, get accepted, then fill out a FAFSA (Federal Application for Financial Student Aid). You can look this up online. You work with your schools financial aide office to see what you quality for.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

oh crap..i didn't know...i have no idea about this..just something to get me money so i can afford to go to school...i put in a mother...soon to be divorced and head of household..and it just brought a bunch of stuff up. can you tell me what i need to pick..like what i should be looking for??? i want something of course that i don't have to pay back...and something that i don't have to be enrolled first..because i don't want to enroll if i can' t afford to pay for it..so it would depend on if i could get money else where.

Don't act to percipitously, Tink...
Damn it. Don't get ahead of yourself.
I know there is things you wanna do with your new life.
FIRST. Get your situation sorted out. Where you and your daughter are gonna live, how to eat, money, etc...

You know what I said...Don't get caught up with this yet.
First things first. Know/learn your rights. You don't have a clue right now.
You are at the mercy of your ex....
