Dballer, when did i say i was against killing the terrorists?
I simply stated that i didnt think it was right for a christian to beliece in killing ANYONE(Even terrorists). I always hear you promoting christianity when it suits you (e.g for points against homosexuality). Maybe im wrong, maybe there is an exception..i dont know, thats why im asking the advice of other Christians or someone who knows a lot about it like Weapon X.
Anyway..as for me, im somewhat undecided. I know something must be done to stop terrorism and i probably favour what America is doing now, by taking out terrorist camps. But the reason im undecided is because i dont yet know the effects it will have. Bombing Aghanistan could go either way:
1)Could cause terrorist groups to lack facilities, money, members and leaders making it hard for any more terrorist attacks to occur.
2)Could provoke anger and cause A LOT more people to turn to terrorism.
What better do people know when all they see is bombs coming down and explosions? As far as they're concerned, the attacks are on them and everything they believe in. Its not difficult for Bin laden to convert all these people through the media, the bombing of Aghanistan is just the excuse he needs too call America 'satan'.
As long as we really are bombing the military targets only, then i think that is probably the best option at this time.
