ok , quick insulin question .

Ok we all know that insulin helps transport protein into muscles . And also helps transports ingest fat to your FATS CELLS . So that is why it can make you fat .

But what would happen if someone takes insulin POST workout ONLY , and EATS protein and clean carbs only .

Can it still make you fat ?

I always use slin post workout anyways. I would PM Needsize on this, or maybe he will show up on this thread.
 
your muscles and liver can only store a certain amount of carbs. if you take too much regardless of your slin dosage your body has to convert it to fat.

i would say most people get fat on slin cause they use too much slin. since they are using a lot of slin they NEED a lot of carbs. they take excess carbs and then get fatter.

i use low dosages of slin and now i get leaner everytime i use it.

if you look up some studies you can see that athletes have gotten great results with very very low dosages of slin. (2-4ius)

I use 100grams of carbs before my workout with 2 ius of Humalog. And I use 100 grams of carbs with 4 ius of humalog post. But I also take it with GH so I don't really get that fat. But strong as shit! And it adds muscle like no other!
 
Wow no one on this thread has a clue... it would take 3 pages to answer this question... Annabelletx just suggested that I need to type up essays, save them online and post links as answers to questions.

The answer to your original question is "yes it can still make you fat". If you wish to not gain bodyfat while using insulin, eat only protien and fat with it. Just be careful not to go into a diabetic coma. I don't recomend doing this if you have a job.
 
no not really, but you need to monitor post workout can be dangerous! and unless you train with a partner no need for it. the pump is real good but thats about all the effects of doing it post are just added dangers of doing it pre only do that when your preparing for a show a week out or so to deplete your carbs and then thats when you have someone with you to overlook you while you cardio and deplete but if your looking to Gain then stick with after workout and before breakfast it suits better,

I've done insulin every which way I could, and too be honest I've never been impressed with it. Never got any size gains, best I ever got was feeling a little bit "fuller" all the time. The only time you really get benefits is if you run the long acting stuff that is in your body all day long, but then without gh the odds are you'll be a fat bastard.
If you do want to try it, I would say start post workout at 2iu, along with your post WO shake. I would say take in at least 50 grams of dextrose with it. You can work your way up by increasing by 1iu every workout or two, and see how you feel.
If you start to go hypo, you'll know as you'll get super shaky, and hot and sweaty*(kind of like the first time you got laid). Just take in some simple carbs right away and it will go away within minutes
 
I happen to be friends with someone that is looked at as being a notorious abuser of the stuff in the BB circles... He flat out told me at 275 his body doesn't need any more than 2iu's a day! That might give some insight as to why other people get fat from the amounts they use!
 
Dude, BBF, I hope that was a typo b/c it dangerous and wrong if it's not. You can still get fat on insulin eating only protein and fats, actually easier since the fat will be boosted by the insulin. And taking insulin without any carbs is an almost surefire way to go hypo, I wouldn't even joke about that b/c someone might try it. If calories are above maintenance, you can gain fat no matter what you eat or whether or not you take insulin, but I'd never suggest trying insulin without carbs, just too dangerous.
