I have travelled all over (am off to Europe on Tuesday for a month and will be in Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Cheque rep, Hungary, Germany, France and UK.) and on my travels (been in all of western europe, africa, egypt, lived in UK for two years) I barely ever met Americans. I met Japanese, Chinese, Indians, South Americans, Europeans from all over, Israeli's are everywhere, but Americans were nowhere to be seen. WHY? America has such a large population of people that I would expect to see many of them among other travellers, I would expect there to be more Americans than anyone else.
WHY not? Where are they all? Answer that...

Well about your comment on arrogant soldiers I say its hard to be humble when you are the best. Us became a world superpower in less than 200 years and the only reason your tiny dick county is still there is because you have nukes that we gave you.

American soldiers are usually arrogant. The lowest of the low of american society. Young americans that think the way to travel and see the world is to join the military. Think it will make them men etc...
America helped the allies win WW2. nothing more than that. They did this after Japan attacked them. So they didn't join the war to help everyone but were attacked and forced to join.
America is nothing more than a huge continent of a country that rules the world. American society is one of the most diseased and corrput societies in the world despite this title.
But, American soldier. I am sure this will not stop you from feeling pride next time you are standing to attention at 5AM singing the anthem.

Ok, I am flying off tomorrow and will not have time to answer anyone so will just add one last post to this thread now.

First of all I would like to explain that I am in no way anti American. However I am sure I am coming over as anti American. I am just pointing out some realities.
One is that Bush is a joke.
Two, American soldiers (like soldiers from many other countries) are full of themselves for all the wrong reasons.
Three, America may be an interesting place that I would love to visit like many other places, but for such a modern superpower, the level of ignorance in the country is overwhelming. I am sure many Americans agree with me.

Look at yourselves in the mirror before you act so superior.
I will give you some keywords/sentences.
Obesity. Vietnam. TV culture. The amont of money your celebrities (aka royalty) make and even worse the way they are idolized. Etc... There are many more examples, and while other countries may share with some of these flaws, America has a lot to fix inside before you can go around claiming to be soooo amazing.

200 years is a short time for an empire. The american emprie is most likely to be the shortest lived empire in history. Try beating the romans, mongolians etc... (much more than 2 centuries of rule) Next in line?.... maybe China??? Canada??? Americas time to rule will be short especially after the effect bush has had on it.

Regarding the request for links above about the small amount of americans who travel, I have none to offer. I have travelled and seen it with my own eyes. I have discussed this with many people and always people agree that Americans are nowhere to be seen. Leave your town/state - then country and go travelling with a backpack (not on an organized tour obviously) I bet you that americans will be the smallest population of travellers you see.

Regarding the request for links regarding Israels high tech. I have none. Do the research yourself if you don't beleive me. - It is the truth.

Regarding the US of holy A giving us nukes??? Hahahaha, never. We stole the uranium and built the weapons ourselves. I think we stole it from the Americans actually...
