ok a nerdy computer question

ok my puter is set up to do automatic updates and a little shield thing is on my taskbar to install the stuff
well i did it but it keeps coming up this because it says it cant install it
and the shield dont go away
how do i fix it? to make it go away?

start-> system -> automatic updates

tat little shield is my automatic updates installer thing
when i hold my cursor over it it says Updates are ready to install. click here to install these updates

updates for what? windows? personally i recommend turning off all automatic updates as they run in the background and slow your system down

yeah i rebooted....actualy i think the power went off during the night cuz my puter was turned off
so if i dont do automatic updates something will come up to tlel me that updates are necessary?
