I think we managed to piss off nycgirl. I got your PM yesterday afternoon aboot you being sick and wanted to take a raincheck, but she didn't get your message. Subsequently, she shows up to the restaurant, and is wondering where everybody is, and calls me wanting to know what is going on.

One way to make sure others know of your plans is to call. Just a friendly reminder!

You didn't piss me off. I had a wonderful dinner!! I had a porn actor hit on me. The bartender made sure my wine glass was full the entire night (and only charged me for the food).

Actually, I'm in the D.C. area. It was a miscommunication mistake. I'm not pissed at all. Trust me, I had a "wonderful" and fun night.

I do expect those boys to make it up to me with a free appetizer or something. :evil:

Nice, I used to work for a promo agency in Bethesda. We ran pub crawls in Baltimore and DC (and NYC) and also opened that club. It was pretty decent a few years ago.

I hear Kinkades is good. New Heights in Woodley Park is very good (unless something happened to the chef when I wasn't paying attention)

Also, Bobby Van's is good, especially the steak. Also, a couple of the smaller hotels in town have awesome restaurants. I'll have to ask my foodie friend about which ones are good.
