I understand using workers in India was not good for Dell and they are moving back to the USA. Do you think more companies will follow, or should I learn how to play cricket and move to India?

I guess it depends if the managers over seas can make it work. I also think that a call center would have a harder time being based out of india than a development cell.

the worst part of it...

is that in their commercials. Dell depicts their help desk as being run by a bunch of competent American kids in cubicles..

the reality is that its run by Indians... very incompetent ones who got Dell in a lot of trouble due to excessive complaints.


Dell is a scummy lying POS company and I willl never buy or recommend their crap product to any client.

guy I've been talking to offered me a pretty damn good position if i was willing to "relocate" ... upon speaking with him he informed me it would be to india lol... albeit i'd have near vp position, that means dick in india haha

don't worry folks, george wmd bush is working on a way to get those types of workers over here. soon we won't have to worry about companies leaving, we'll just have to worry about people coming in and taking our jobs.

DELL is certainly there. just called them the other day and the could barely understand them.
