Today we are off to another funeral today. My wife's Grandmother passed last Friday. My daughter is taking better than expected. She told me that now she has two people in her heart. She lost her Grandpop the year before last. Now that one was very hard on her. Now her great Grandmother.

Well, I for one have been to too many Funerals. I guess the older you get the more frequent they come.

Sorry for your loss..

My son (who will be 5 next month) really surprised me when my husbands grandfather died about 6 months ago. My husband and son spent the last 2 weeks of his life visiting with him (they live about 4 hours from us). So, my 4yo basically watched this man die. We used the experience to talk about God, heaven, and the process of life in these human bodies and beyond. My son handled it VERY well…..I KNOW that God planned for my son to be there during that time because everyone commented on how Pappy’s heart would beat faster when my son was near and he lifted everyone’s spirits a little.

My son prays for Pappy every night (he calls him “pappy in heaven”)……

Thanks everyone, This one went a little better. Although there wasn't a dry eye in the house when my wife went up to the podium to talk about her nanny.

VooDoo Lady, My girl is 5 also. I tell you though, you would think she is about 8 or 9 to talk to her. Some of the things that she sez and understands. It's remarkable! I could go on talking about her for hours! Daddy's pride!

Again, thanks to one and all!
