OFF the wagon...

Girls I am afraid to say that I have been off the wagon for a week now.
Well last week was that time of the month, therefore was tired and on top of all that had the flu and decided not to go to the gym. This week I have has too many things to do and been very busy. Also tomorrow is "Turkey day" meaning lots of dessert.
Friday on the other hand I am going to start from "0" clean.
Next week is a big busy week for me.
My kid and I have to go the 3 interviews for the schools. That alone is a lot of stress.
But I have to get my sh^%## together if I don't no-one would do it for me.
ohh well just fell like droping some lines in here..since I saw myself in the mirror and also notice my clothes fitting small, also hubbie told me that I am getting big..that is time to hit the gym again. :-( :-(

I guess u r right..anyhow I do not celebrate thanksgiving, just started last year...It is not part of my culture.
But in a serious note, I agree with u..thanks for the support. I really need it..
Ohhh I tey the yams the other day..and they taste just like sweet potatoes...mmm delicious..

Mmmmmm

Yams with toasted almonds, a little OJ for moisture, cinnamon, and some toasted coconut on top, served with a tblspoon of flax oil!!!!

spats offer to help in the kitchen then you can find out (look in trash) what's being added to food (butter).
or offer to bring something (healthy) sometimes people are surprised how much they enjoy good food.

BigEasy that sounds wonderful! :)

I feel your pain with the iceberg lettuce! :)
My family has learned to deal with my food it is never normal (I usually cook).
You are better than most of us with the diet so you will be fine in the end.

Time for a new thread Spats....

Lets find out all the variations of how we toss, *blush*...errr, make salads.

Mmmm....cornbread stuffing is my favorite Turkey day food. Can't wait to eat it.

I fell off the wagon so long ago it crested the hill up ahead and dropped off the face of the earth for all I can tell. Finally got the dishes unpacked and washed in the new place so I should be up and running after that perfect diet again soon...with much lamenting and gnashing of teeth I'm sure as I ride out the carb cravings. On the plus side, one day about a week ago I ate a bag of jelly beans because there wasn't another edible thing in sight, and 100g of sugar later, sick to my stomach, I swore I'd never do that again. I think I meant it.

On thanksgiving I eat...its my day to enjoy stuff..not out of control but if I want it I eat..it only comes once a year, and I spend enough time dieting and being strict...cant be picky all the time or you will go nuts and one day will not kill you its when that day turns into weeks and months of eating.

I just started today!!!
I know...but better now then never...
It is hard to eat clean when u r visiting family. which was my case.
But today I am back on it...And doingwhat I read in a thread...cooking not for a week but a least for 2-3 days. That way I have food to take to work and also food in the house when I get home at night after work.
Good idea right???
working out it has been an issue for me.. since I have a kid and no-one to take care of her-for early morning workout. Going to try to workout in evening after work 3days\week. Babysitter gives me problems if I pick up child late...grrrrrrr
I have no other choice there..I guess I have to be happy doing taeBoe at home....at least is something.
Any ideas, suggestions are welcome
