Odd Injection Today....

OK, so recently I sat down for a my good old daily t.ren a.ce shot. I was pinning my right medial delt though I was a bit to the outside of the medial portion. Aspirated, got the clearance to inject and I proceeded to inject 1/2 a cc of t.ren a.ce (50mg). Left the pin in for about 30 secs after then withdrew. Then squirted 3 geysers of blood. No biggie- happened before, applied pressure and mopped up my mess. Then as I was massaging the area I felt the injection site and there was a sizeable lump. I loked in the mirror and it was quite purple - figured I passed through a doozy of a vessel. Now it has all but dissipated.

So I was wondering if it was the gear causing the lump (never had this issue before) or if it was simply the busted vessel I passed through.My money's on a buildup of blood caused by the broken vessel. It was quite a deep injection, 1 inch so I doubt I pinned into a fat layer especially since I don't have much fat around my delts.

What do you bros think? I'm just curious, not concerned.

At least I didn't get t.ren cough!

If cleared up nicely then I would agree with you and think was blood build up. Especially if was purple. Did it leave a bruise?

Tiniest one.

You can have blood build up around scar tissue so if you've been hitting that area frequently could be the cause. Nicking a surface vein will also do it but you would normally see a bruise.

probably the busted vessel. if it doesn't o away in a few days, go to the doc. try heat wrap and hot water in the shower. you'll be fine.
