Oatmeal w/triple threat

I had oatmeal and 2 scoops of triple threat this morning for the first time and it was hard to swallow down. Is there any way I can make this taste better, easier to swallow???But i must say it was very filling. Also, is it ok to have this on a cutting cycle??

Did you just shake it up or did you use a blender? When I make my bigger thicker shakes, I usually add a scoop of ice milk, my usual milk, some oatmeal and a banana. Hit frappe and watch it spin. Goes down very smoothly.

no, what i do is pour a bowl of plain regular quaker oats and then add two scoops of triple threat, and then add hot water. It was hard to swallow down, but I felt like I accomplished something incredible.

If its hard to down, then you can just add more liquid ( milk | water) until its less thick or just eat the oat meal seperatly.

Oatmeal when cutting? I dont think so, maybe only post workout when u can really use the extra complex carbs but thats all. TThreat is already a MRP so adding oatmeal is essentially converting it into a weight gainer, not good for cutting.

why is oatmeal so bad when cutting?? with the all the gear i'm taking (eq, anavar, winny, fina)i think I need a healthy meal even if i'm trying to cut bf%.

Because oatmeal is strait carbs, you can have some.., actually considering all the gear in your cycle, a meal like this could be fine. Depends on your metabolism and such, if you think your body can take it then go ahead, most people go low carb.

I have the oats with the vanilla triple threat and I think that it tastes good.

However, I use one serving of oats and one scoop of TT with just a bit of salt.

I think that TT is the best tasting protein I have ever used....must be some secret ingredient not listed on the nutrition label!!! (you know there's like a pound of sugar added to the bucket that the makers of TT just "forgot" to list on the label!!!!)

strait carbs?

what the heck is "strait" carbs....or should i say straiGHT carbs? oatmeal is a complex carbs AND has a good bit of FIBER which provides satiety (this means makes you feel full) much like fat ....i would say white rice or white pasta is a lot closer to SUGAR than oatmeal...

Straight carbs, means just carbs , lacking protein. Just like having a drink straight (almost nothing else included). I already stated they were complex carbs, reading may help you understand the posts more.

I just had a scoop of strawberry whey with oatmeal, and i thought it was very good.....well it was ok....on low carb almost anything tastes good.

whole point is...

oatmeal is not just straight carbs....it has FIBER which helps slow digestion (initially) and probably insulin release....in my opinion straight carbs whether complex or simple, are without other substances....basically just a carbon or carbon chain....

I don't know if I'd consider TT an MRP... it only has 7g of carbs for every 20g of protein. If I were to drink my usual 40g protein, that'd only be 14g of carbs. Y'all think that's a good meal replacement for me 3 times per day while cutting? Or is that too low on carbs? Lemme know. Thanks.
