oatmeal post workout

i was thinking about having a bowl of oatmeal right after my post workout shake...is this a bad idea? i figure im mixing gatorade with whey isolate directly after the workout so that should replenish me with some quick acting sugars and protein but since oatmeal is slow acting is it a bad idea to add it in as well?

yea i make sure that the first thing i down post workout as 3 tbsps of amino fuel then my shake.
