Keep in mind that if Bush is reëlected and you simply will not put up with four more years of his policies, you could still always rejoin the Netherlands. NYC itself has a comparable population to our little country and I think we could have a good thing there

that's not an argument for Bush, but yes you are probably right. They will go back to their everyday lives, only a bit more bitter and cynical.

First of all, most of our nihilistic Eurotrash-wannabe's will eventually wisen up, get married and move to Connecticut to raise 2.5 kids and vote republican.

Secondly, you guys have a way cooler soccer(football) team than they do. They have to SHARE their team with New Jersey!!

Hippies and Euro-trach college students love being altruistic and idealistic in college. But once they get out in the world and start paying taxes, the wisen up.... or move to Berkeley.

Really? So are there more young people in NYC then than elsewhere?

Of course I know most people quietly slide from the left to the right during their age 18-40

This is not an argument for either side imo
