NYC Club History?

I always wondered who used to spin where and when....I'm talkin like the big clubs that used to be around, and the ones that still are (Exit, SF, Arena, Tunnel, Twilo, etc.). Where did Junior, JP, Lawler, DT and all those big NY DJ's have their residencies before?? i get confused, since i wasnt clubbing back then... and i know i've had a few arguments over this, if anyone knows their NYC club history, go ahead and enlighten me.

hmmm.. let's see:

Junior: Bassline , Sound Factory, Tunnel, Arena @ Palladium, Juniorverse @ Twilo, Earth @ Exit

Peters: Club USA, Save the Robots, i think he did a brief residency at Mirage/Carbon, Factory Fridays, Factory Saturadays

Tennaglia: can't really remember where he started.. but i remember Friday nights at Twilo, DTour Saturday's at Tunnel, Be Yourself Friday's at Vinyl

Lawler: never had a residency in nyc (actually i belive he came to Twilo once every 2 months

Merrit and Lord G- Cafe Con Leche Sunday nights at Expo

Cream (Carl Cox)
Dmitri from Paris : all had revolving friday night residencies at Twilo

Gonzo / Corbett - seemed to be spinning in Limelight almost every Wed through Sat (not necessarily the main floor, but somewhere in the church)

DJ Keoki - Disco 2000 Wednesday nights at limelight

Peter Rauhaufor and Alex Lauterstein - early days of Twilo- did a biweekly friday night party for Twisted Records

David Morales- I'm pretty sure he used to do saturdays at USA and later on, again in Twilo's early days- Saturdays at Twilo..

Eddie Baez- Hacienda fridays @ Tunnel

That's all I can think of right now.. Lot's of trully great Parties over the year's. In my opinion NYC is in a bit of a dry spell right now... but with Republic (Limelight), Deep (Ohm- rumored residents- Roger Sanchez and Ivano Bellini) Powder (new space- have not heard anything about the possible residents) all openeing is should be getting much more interesting.. also rumored to be in the pipeline.. Crobar (28th b/w 10th and 11th), Space (old Twilo Space) - not sure how far along these two are..

yes JP spun at mirage...

I believe his first gig was at this place called "iguana"...this restaurant/club on park ave south...

I remember it because they had a huge iguana hanging from the ceiling...

from what i've heard Ivano will be the resident at Deep (21st b/w 5th and 6th, I think) its the old ohm space. has been cleared out to make it bigger.. now has a huge U shape bar. have not seen it yet but heard it's been done very nice. basement is loungy area, 1st floor is main, 2nd is vip. - again this is what i remember being told but not positive. lots of rumors going around now but who knows what will happen. have also heard, saturday night resident at Republic (Limelight) - Paul Oakenfol- speaking of Oakenfol - thanksgiving eve he's opening for Junior @ Earth/Exit. lastly, junior is rumored to be leaving Earth/Exit - thank god- i hope he can find his way back to that space on 27th. that space never sounded as good as when he worked!! it. i'll try to rummage through some of my stuff and dig out all my old flyers / pics of club kids - great history of NYC dance/club culture. (well, at least the history that i've been lucky enough to take part of)

oh, just remember another residency - MOBY @ Mars
