I was over there too. I never even logged onto C & C until about two months ago.

if they leave because of the warm welcome we give them, then they probably aren't right for C&C anyway.

You've got bros like nutsack who came, got their welcome, and it put them on the fast track to C&C acceptance!

ironically they often times end up going plat (chalk that up to the welcoming crew) and joining us and our efforts!

No, chalk it up to the site being worth the bull shit that you put members through. Please don't make it seem like you are doing it to help the site, you're doing it for shits and giggles, nothing more.

Nutsnack, objectively, do you feel that your EF Welcome (Bombing) added something to your overall experience here on Elite, or did it detract from it.

im a huge asshole and i love to piss people off on the internet and everything i read or hear on the internet i take with a grain of salt (some people take this board WAY too seriously).. i use this board for mere entertainment purposes although it was annoying to be blacked out for 2 days or whatever i laughed for a good while seeing all the other people blacked out and now that i can cause people to be blacked out by being a dickhead I like the site even more.. i've been here at C&C for like 2 months but didn't really post much at first and it had nothing to do with the bombs i just didn't know who had the sick sense of humor i do and now i know most people here do so its all good

ok so it's settled then. huge assholes & dicks will relate to the welcoming crew. everyone else will leave.

I think a club like this would be better served for after someone has proved themselves as a great new member, then at least they would understand what was happening and it would be a rite of initiation. as it stands right now though I think it's more harmful than good. and you never responded to my previous post.
 
It doesn't really matter, because anytime I see someone blacked out for no reason I will remove the bombs and red the bomb givers, all of them. At one time I was against giving red to the bomb squad, because I thought that it wasn't worth it, now it is.

Sure its annoying, just like I am sure its annoying for sawastea to have his name associated with geighness constantly, but it also helps him get nude cock shots so its all good.

Like I've said all along, the EF Welcoming Crew has its place just like anyone else. We're certainly not trying to discourage anyone from posting or turn people away, and in a couple of cases I have reached out and purchased plat memberships for a couple people who took it the wrong way.

CrazzyRussian is one of them. Vigilante was another.

Often times I'll get a PM from someone that was bombed, and I'll explain to them what it is that was going on. This gets them involved in the site, I often time make new friends that way.

Case in point, njjuice, good bro and homie now. Formerly a great bomb target.
 
And Big4Life, I'm glad you are on the side of the bombees.. you are like a public defender, you don't know your clients, you just do your job. That is cool, the Bomb Squad always had people to counter balance their power, the associates, the resistance, spongebob has given up the role as their leader, so its good to have someone to step in an help out. We definitely need balance.

Plus it makes it more of a game, we gotta pile on 4 bombs before people start diffusing.
