now i have i question about making fina (Realgains method)

I'll use Realgains method to the conversion.
He said to use a termometer (spelling?) and a pan with water to
kill bacterias.
Can i do this in an eletric oven without a pan with water or it does not matter how you do that?
It may be a dumb question but something i learn here that i like is "BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY".

heat is heat, as long as you can acheive 240 degrees for 20 minutes it will work. Good luck.
