They do work well if you want the ridged texture and look to the paint. I've worked on several people's houses that wanted it instead of a flat color. Its just a bitch to keep them uniform and straight.

They were falling apart as I painted.......It's worth spending a little more and buy one made local.

I swear, nothing is made in North America anymore.

I buy my trash bags and sponges there. Good stuff. They have fried cow lung for my dogs. The stuff stinks but they love it.

Don't know if you watch Jay Leno but last night he did a segment of 99 cent store stuff..It was funny. They of course were real products but had printing errors in the names, and such that made them go for a cheaper value.
