There are so many variables about how/what would be after Saddam is deposed.

Turkey has showed interest in the North part where Kurds are the majority there and Iran may want a piece form the South where shiites are the majority.

Could be a partition between Iran,Turkey and Irak.

Have you wondered why Iran has been so quiet?

How about Turkey suddenly having a change of heart and allowing its airspace to be used by the US.

Maybe they actually thought we MIGHT NOT have supreme control over there? They must be insane. Now they see what we can do (like they haven't seen it in the first war over there) and suddenly they're kissing ass.

it's not 100% change of heart. we really wanted to set up bases in turkey, and they're not having any part of it. for now.
