...this is so out of character for me. Tis a night home alone. So I opened a bottle of wine. After half the bottle (note that I usually have that much in a 6 month time period) I opted to place an hour long international phone call on my cell.

Now "tonight Raina" thinks that was fun but that hour has sobered her enough to realize that "getting the cell bill in a couple of weeks Raina" is going to be more than a little pissed at "tonight Raina".

My cell plan is fine about continental US calls. It even gets a bit pissy about Alaska calls....so Canada calls should pretty well screw me into a big bill. Oh well.

Yeah but I'm married and I'm a good girl. My husband is having a guys night and I keep calling and telling him that I'm cute, sexy, and he's missing out. He's dying laughing because he's not heard me drunk for about a year.
 
I wouldn't be drinking a bottle of wine that's been open for a week, let alone 6 months! :sick:

Ahaha, actually most of the time your posts make me smile. I just crack up the way you say things, I dont know if you are serious or not on some things which cracks me up, like what the hell. You are very sweet, as hammmy told me when he visited from the alternate universe.

I'd never opened a bottle of wine before. I mean I'd drank a fair amount but had never done it myself. I had 2 nice corkscrews from bridal showers. I called hubby concerned and he told me that I didn't deserve wine if I was too dumb to figure out how to open it. lol

Nothing tricky!

Yeah, you cut the top off, glass and all. It only works with champagne anyway.

The gods have blessed your husband. He got a hot wife who just happens to be a wino. I'm jealous.

Hope you don't have a wine hangover in the morning. Those are the pits. I prefer the "I drank so much rum I made Capt Morgan look like a recruit" hangover.

The worlds finest wines always come in a 5ltr ecomony box with one of those little dispensing taps attached to the bottom. ;)

He doesn't pay my cell bill. The rule at our house is that pre-existing debts and cell bills that existed before we were together are our own problems.

Thankfully my truck is paid for but I don't pay for his truck/insurance. His cell gets paid by his boss and he doesn't pay mine.

I'd say things are pretty equal in terms of who wears the pants.

I thought she talked to a stranger in China or Saudi Arabia for an hour. Then I scrolled down to see it was Canada . . .

Raina, I don't think it hurt the bill that much.
 
Not sure if you can do this with your cell company but i noticed anytime i made changes with mine they would back date it for me to the start of the billing date if i wanted.
So when i made a long distance call at one point, a few actually... i thought my bill was going to be crazy so i called them up and added like a 200min long distance plan to my cell that they back dated :)
