the article he has in this month's FLEX is excellent. Regarding the exercises you should get rid of and avoid after a while.
I am going to catch hell for this one.. but I am not going to allow my Boy Band to do regular deadlifts at all. For lower back, I am doing 1st and 2nd workout with hyperextensions (both reg and reverse), the 3rd workout will be high reps (12+) of rack deadlifts with the bar starting right below the kneecap.
