Re: Here's what I'd recommend

Piracetam is great but for me I need to take a lot of it. If you have the liwuid take a few bottles in the first coulple days, otherwise take 3-4 tabs 4 times a day for about 3 days, then lower the dose....Some people get good redults from 3 tabs a day, but I find I need at least twice that. Also you want to give yourself a break wevery couple weeks because although it's very safe it puts some stress on your kidneys.
Hope that helps a little.

Is it Piracetam that puts stress on the kidneys or Demopressin? or both? Is this stress detrimental to kidney function?

I think it's mainly Piracetam

As long as you have no kidney problems you should be OK, but the doses I take are mor than the recommended dose, and so it's a good idea to give them a break every now and then even though it's probably not necesary it's better to be safe than to damage your kidneys. Actually Piracetam is one of the safest drugs around, so I don;t think it;s a big deal. Vassopresin (or desmopresina) is an antidiuretic hormone, and I know people have use dit for long periods of time at high doses with no problems, but I could see how it could be probvlematic. Fortunately or unfortunately as the case may be it's pretty expensive, so most people can't really even afford to take enough to where it would be an issue. I think mainly the thing to worry about is if you were taking oral steroids at the same time you might want to get checked out every now and then to make sure everythings OK, but with kidney stress you can usually feel it, and if you lay off whatever might be causing it you can avoid any permanent damage.

BTW Does anyone know where you can get bulk Choline, preferably in powder form? Choline is good stuff, but I can't handlke taking a buch of bulky pills to get the dose I;d like to take.

Thanks.

Beyond-a-century.com and kilosports.com generally have great prices on bulk powders. Costco and whole foods also carry Soya lecithin. In addition, whole foods has lecithin granules.

I took another 250 mg of Lucidril today, about 2 hours after my first dose of it, but still did have not felt any effect.

where can i find Nootropics in Canada?

Basically no matter where you live the best bet is to buy them on-line. I can get Piracetam over the counter where I live, but I can get it for about 1/3 the price on-line. Also there is no one location where you can get all the stuff you'd want (Europe is the best place as a rule, but still you'd have to get one thing from one country and one thing from a nother etc.) and there are good comanies oin-line that buy in bulk or from the manufacturer so they can give you the best prices possible.

If you want a couple good URL's e-mail me. The other thing is that nootropics tend to get past customs even if they're opened in most cases, unlike steroids or other controled substances, you can import a reasonable amount of products for your personal use (the amount varies from country to country). I've ordered from abut 5 places on-line, and only 2 turned out to be legit, but of course I placed small orders and when I got the packages from the legit suppliers (one in particular) I was so impressed I ordered over $1000 worth of products and have been using them ever since, and they've always come through in a very professional manner....I think these companies are doing an invaluable service, and it's a shame that you can't just buy most of this stuff at your local pharmacy.

BTW does anyone know of any other boards like this that deal with life extension and smart drugs?

It could be it just takes time to work

I 'd have to check on Lucidril, but like I said a lot of these products work in a subtle way. I personaly can't feel anything from Hydergine, and I take it with Piracetam, (which is supposed to potentiate it's effects) but my guess is it takes time to work. Lucidril might be the same way. Piracetam I could feel but I had to take a large dose, desmopresina hit me like a ton of bricks, but I've kind of gotten used to it, maybe beause I was short on vasopressin when I started but from using it now I may have hgher levels in my system so it doesn't effect me as much.

An example is Gerovital...I got some and took it for about 4 months, and at first I thought that it was bunk, (it was the real product so I thouht the whole Procaine thing was just hype), but I kept taking it because I had already bought it, and my father mentined to me once that when he lived in Chile in the 25 years ago (or so) he had some friends in the military there, and that there were all these older looking senior military officials who loked much younger than their age, and I guess his friend asked jokingly whta their secret was, and they stated kin dof matter of factly tat they were all taking Gerovital, so I decided to keep taking it even though I thoiught it wasn't doing anything for me.

Well about 3 months after I started on it I noticed that the wrinkles around my eyes (I don't know what you all them crows feet or something) were actualy going away, at the time I didn;t amke any conection between the two, but then something really srange happened, I had a slightly receding hairline (I actually started loosing some hair during a steroid cycle and sopped it in time to not be noticable but I had definitely started loosing the hair in the corners of my forehead, and lo and behold, although it didn't completely reverse itself it did get better, and by that time I was convinced, and I still am that Gerovital is great stuff...but I think you have to get the real product from Romania.....anyway the point is that some of thee things don't work overnight, but they do work...it's like taking anti-oxidient vitamins, you don;t feel anything from taking large doses of viatmin c or vitamin e etc., but that doesn't mean it's not working,

Besides from what I understand some tings like Hydergine for example do moe to protect your brain and nerves from deterioration than enything else, so the real benefits might come only after using it for years.

Thanks for the info, the only place I can find supplements where I live is GNC, and they don;t have the best selection, and they charge about 3 times what theý should, so I'll definitely be checking out those websites!:)

I have a suspicion that customs went through the items I received yesterday--Aniracetam, Adrafinil, and Lucidril. I feel this way because the Lucidril and Aniracetam packages were slightly ripped and totally out of shape. The Lucidril inside packages were bent and looked like someone stepped all over them which may have been the case rather than a customs inspection. To my suprise, the two adrafinil packages appeared to have suffered no harm, they were still in mint condition, so this gives evidence that there may have been an intrusion into my package goods.

Choline, take as much as you can...I personally can only get them in 250 mg tabs mixed with Inositol and they are hard to swallow, I'd like to get about 3 times the ammount I do but it's just touch sucking down all those pills.

Hydergine normally comes in 4.5 mg tabs, I'd recommend two a day, but some people get srtomach trouble from it, if so 4.5mg a day is a good "standard"dose.

With the Gerovital H3 if you have the real stuff from Romania manufactured by Sicomed in Bucharest it's good stuff, there are alot of fakes out there...I recommend taking 1 tab in the morning and 1 tab before bed. You shouldn't eat anything for about an hour afterwards. You won;t notice results for a while but if you take it for 6 months you should see some real changes...at least I did. You should take it I think 25 days on and 5 days off.

I know nothing about Lucydril, but b vitamins are always good....

Good luck..Oh and by the way I''m relly into nootropics and life extension drugs and nutrients, and I'll tell you the best

Romania? I lived there. In fact I'll be going down in June.
Hydergine, Piracetam, Dball,T3,Ketotifen,Clen,ephedrine,
tamoxifen, Clomiphene. Everything just amazingly
cheap.
Last time I checked Gerovital H3 was dirt cheap there.
