Nootropic "stack" for optimum synergy

Handsome Pete

New member
I have Piracetam, Lucidril, Hydergine and Choline. I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on how to combine any or all of them for synergy.

The bulk of the information that I've been able to find over the internet applies only to using a single product.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are barking right up my alley. I am going to start a similar stack soon, but am using DMAE instead of Lucidril. Most people recomend a five day period of high piracetam intake and then taper down to a lower dose. Hydergine supposedly synergizes with piracetam by a factor of 5. You may want to add B5 ensure that you have the necessary enzyme to produce extra acetylcholine. Let me know if you find an answer as this is the stack I am looking to try.

Is Nutripil worth my time

New to these type of drugs. I was told that a product called Nootrapil Sp? was worth while. A friend gets it all the time in TJ. Says it would would good for me beause I'm so forgetful and would improve my concentration. Any opinions?

SDRaver - That's basically why I'm looking into them. Nootropil is Piracetam, I believe. It's the most widely-used smart drug.

Jacob - I think I read the same post as you did about the Piracetam + Hydergine info. The "5 times" thing seems pretty anecdotal. I'm going to the library today to see if I can find any better info. I'll post whatever I can find.

I first read of the synergy between hydergine and piracetam in, 'Smart Drugs and Nutrients' by Ward Dean and John Morganthaller(sp). It is based on research on mice performed by Arthur Cherkin.

I've been looking for that one but can't seem to find it anywhere. Does it mention any other possible combinations?

I checked out the book "brain candy". It had some helpful info on the individual drugs, but nothing about combos. Still lookin'...

Incidentally, have you tried anything yet?

This is a "Memory Improvement Stack" recommended by another website:

Piracetam: 1200mg 2 to 4 times daily.
Hydergine: 2.25mg 2 to 3 times daily.
Gerovital-H3: 100mg to 200mg daily in the morning on an empty stomach.
Nutritional Support: Phosphatidyl Serine 100mg to 200mg daily: B-Complex Vitamins particularly B3, B6 and B12.

I figure I'll follow these guidelines in terms of the Piracetam and Hydergine, and include a low dose of Lucidril to start off.

I've also been checking out newsgroups for anecdotal stuff. They vary pretty wildly.

I guess the moral of the story is "trial and error" in this case.

Here's what I'd recommend

Piracetam is great but for me I need to take a lot of it. If you have the liwuid take a few bottles in the first coulple days, otherwise take 3-4 tabs 4 times a day for about 3 days, then lower the dose....Some people get good redults from 3 tabs a day, but I find I need at least twice that. Also you want to give yourself a break wevery couple weeks because although it's very safe it puts some stress on your kidneys. Choline, take as much as you can...I personally can only get them in 250 mg tabs mixed with Inositol and they are hard to swallow, I'd like to get about 3 times the ammount I do but it's just touch sucking down all those pills.

Hydergine normally comes in 4.5 mg tabs, I'd recommend two a day, but some people get srtomach trouble from it, if so 4.5mg a day is a good "standard"dose.

With the Gerovital H3 if you have the real stuff from Romania manufactured by Sicomed in Bucharest it's good stuff, there are alot of fakes out there...I recommend taking 1 tab in the morning and 1 tab before bed. You shouldn't eat anything for about an hour afterwards. You won;t notice results for a while but if you take it for 6 months you should see some real changes...at least I did. You should take it I think 25 days on and 5 days off.

I know nothing about Lucydril, but b vitamins are always good....

Good luck..Oh and by the way I''m relly into nootropics and life extension drugs and nutrients, and I'll tell you the best thing I;ve found for memory and alertness, and just overall mood enhancement is Minurin (desmopressina) it's a natural brain hormone, and you haveto try it to believe it, it really works and you can feel it right away, compared to most of those other products you can tell you;re getting results.....some of the others like Hydergine and Gerovital work, but they take a long time before you notice they're working.

It's kind of like steroids, they work really well if you use them right, but they can costa lot of money and if you don't use them properly you don't get results.

Hope that helps a little.

Today, I received my order of Aniracetam, Adrafinil, and Lucidril. I took one 750 mg tab of Aniracetam, but felt absolutely nothing at all. About 3 hours later, I took one 250 mg tab of Lucidril, and again, I felt absolutely nothing at all. This stuff has proven to me to have placebo efficiency in me. Perhaps, the dose is too low?

At least with Piracetam and Hydergine I was able to feel some effect.

Has anyone tried anyone tried Nicotine as a smart drug? I am planning to use it in the near future for that effect? hopefully it will have positive effect on me.
