collective soul CD was kinda weak..

their last album was awesome, but i agree, this one is just perfect... one of those full album experiences, where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts

velvet revolver contraband and the new megadeth the system has failed
i didnt really pay attention to many albums this year. the only ones that i can think of off hand are haste the day - burning bridges, which wasnt bad at all, but not album of the year; converge - you fail me, also not bad, but not album of the year; and dillinger escape plan - miss machine (NOT their sophomore effort, its more like their 5th release), which was a pretty BAD album, i couldnt get into it at all.
