Nolvadex on cycle

Currently on 400mg testE & 600mg EQ, along with 500iu/week HCG.

The most common phrase on these boards is "nolva on hand" (in case symptoms of gyno arrise)

Week 9 of 16-20 I'm seeing that my nips are hard expecially at night. I have nolvadex and started using it when the "puffy nips" showed up which was 2 days ago. I'm taking 40mg/day.

I've been researching this and from what I can tell, i shouldn't be taking nolva, i should be taking an AI.

Why does everyone say have nolva on hand in case of gyno symptoms if we shouldn't use it???

Should i continue the nolv?
Should I purchase an AI? (will take a couple weeks to be delivered)

I'd get arimidex....the nolva only works on the gyno at the receptor level

Yes, same thing. Nolva is a limited, outdated drug.

Guy's whov'e used POST CYCLE, Sustain and just 1/4 mg of dex EOD have had excellent results.

The following is just to clear this up in my head.

So a couple years ago, nolvadex would be taken successfully during a cycle to prevent gyno. Today it's a useless outdated drug? I've looked at past posts and found that nolva is recommended (and advice was taken with relative success)in most threads about preventing gyno during a cycle.

BTW: AI is on order. I trust the information that has been given and like the fact that there are advanced drugs to help us. It's just that some of this wouldn't hold up on a timeline. In the 80's and 90's......and even early 2000's, were AI's more common or was nolvadex? Guess I have some reading to do.
