Nolvadex and "rebound effect"

I'm in the last three weeks of my omna 500mg/week cycle...second cycle

some water, but not a lot, just started to really see it

no nip puffiness (that I can tell...Lord knows I walk around rubbing my nips constantly...my co-workers must think I'm in heat)

I have 30 10mg Nolvas on hand

I'm thinking of running them at 10mg/day through the end of the cycle, and one week post....start Clomid three weeks post

research on this board and others shows varying opinions on whether Nolva during cycle is a good idea

my main concern is the "rebound effect"...not too worried about hindering gains

I'd like some fresh opinions on the use of Nolva during cycle

btw, I decided to use up the Nolva b/c I'm getting and using Arimi or Liquidex next cycle...peace of mind

I've used nolvadex during quite a few cycles to keep bloat down and to keep my chest hard in contest prep, I used 10 to 20mg a day for weeks at a time WITH NO NEGATIVE EFFECTS EVER. I don't believe that at the doses that I use that it diminishes anything.

Both nolva and clomid simply block the estrogen receptor, they dont prevent its creation. Problems see to arise when people use long half life esters but stop taking nolva before they start clomid. That means the receptors no longer have anything blocking them yet there is still AAS hydrolizing and aromatizing into estrogen then before ya know it your getting gyno symptoms. I would use it until you start clomid myself.

that was precisely the response I was hoping for

thus, as I have a 4 1/2 week supply of Nolva, and plan to start Clomid therapy three weeks post cycle (which will run three weeks), I will wait until, say, one week post cycle (last shot) to run the Nolva

I may have misunderstood you. If you are not taking nolva now because you have no symptoms, then you should not need any post cycle either. If however you find that on a cycle you DO need nolva to keep gyno symptoms at bay, then by all means continue to to take it post cycle until you start clomid.
