I have regular soreness when I do arms shoulders and back, but when i do chest, i never have any soreness in my chest afterwards. i feel my bench press in my triceps but not in my chest. what am i doing wrong?

Don't use soreness as a gauge for how your workout was. You get sore when youre body does something it's not used to...you've probably been benching the same way for a while and this explains it. You get sore when your body does something it is NOT used to.

What you are doing wrong is thinking that soreness = growth.

It's good you feel bench in your triceps that means your probably tucking your elbows in a good amount with nice form.

Add some weight to the bar.

Care to enlighten us with your stats?

I really dont' know what my stats are. just got serious about weightlifting about 2 months ago. let me ask one more question, the right side of my chest is slightly larger than the left side. could this be because i am right handed and favor that side more, or am i doing something wrong in my lifting?

I know what you mean, I had a similar situation for quite a while. The way up came from doing dumbell bench press with short rest between sets.
