NO Shotgun & ECA

Hey,

I've heard that caffeine blocks Creatine from working. Is this true?
If so, then if your taking an ECA(Ephedrine, Caffeine, Aspirin) stack, should you allow so much time between taking the ECA and using NO Shotgun?

Thanks,
Ryan

Never head this. I would like to see the science and studies behind it. Or even the reason.

Hey,

I found an article about it:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/berardi5.htm

Looks like there's not really any solid conclusive evidence.
The reason I ask is I saw the post in the steroid forum about the guy who lost 20% body fat in 10 weeks. And I was thinking of doing the same thing almost. He did ECA for 2 weeks during the 10 weeks, as well as was taking the NO Shotgun before workouts. I'm going to do a longer cycle of ECA, and I won't be doing the steroids, etc.. so just kind of wondering if the ECA renders the NO Shotgun a little useless.

Nope I do not think so bro. I think its fine. people use omeges amp and lipo

Alright, Cool.
Well i'm at 368lbs (42%) body fat. I start training hard on Monday.
I'll be doing that guys diet, working with a Personal trainer, and taking ECA, NO Shotgun, and Carb Free Whey Protein shakes. So we'll see what kind of results I get in 10 weeks. :)

I should probably make a reply on his post or start a new thread but maybe you can recommend something.
He used the DX7 multivitamin, but I can't seem to find it here in Canada. I'm thinking rather then ordering, picking up Animal Pak here locally. Any thoughts on whether it would be worth it to order the DX7 instead?

Thanks,
Ryan

Yes it is bro good job :) Ya he has a great one and can ship to you no probs I think.

I think it was "creatine monohydrate" that caffeine gave a problem to. Back in the 90's it was being said, don't combine caffeine and creatine mono.

This is from a book titled: "Creatine, natures muscle builder": "One study by Vandenberghe shows that the benefits of creatine are counteracted when it is consumed with large amounts of caffeine, (the equivalent of five cups of coffee). The study found that while caffeine did not reduce the increase in creatine-phosphate levels the muscle fibers, dynamic torque production in caffeine/creatine users was 10 to 20 percent lower than in test subjects who took creatine alone.

In fact, torque production was for the caffeine/creatine users was no different than for the placebo group. Mixing creatine in caffeinated drinks,
at least according to this study, may also reduce or even neutralize the performance-enhancing effects of this nutrient in the short term."

>"<....Again, this is for creatine monohydrate.
