No really...why is Dr Phil / Oprah popular?

I like what Ozzie said about DR Phil on that talk show. He said DR Phil kept saying they where a dysfunctional family. He wanted to know who he was being compared to. He wanted to know what a functional family looked like. Obviously they are surviving really well so I would say they are functioning just fine. Everyone is different.

I do not agree with much of anything when they start bringing those kids in that disrespect there parents and shit. I think they just need the shit beat out of them a few hundred times.

i thank u have to earn respect...kids need direction and discipline..and attention.
most kids dont get enough attention.. parents dont spend time with there children..
they are free to go run and hide in there rooms...
People want kids but want to give them the time they need...
raising a kid.. means you should spend time with them ... not 1 or 2 hrs a day.
lots of time....if you cant put in the time.... dont have em ...
...help them learn keep them busy... teach them things... it is to easy to just buy them video games and send them to there room where you dont have to bother with them...

basically if your idiotic enough to have to bring ur kid into dr phil cause you suck that much at being a parent, you sort of deserve to be disrespected

When all thetalk shows were going down the shock jock alley oprah took the positive spin tack and it struck a chord with the home maker crowd. Why would a middle class mom with 2.5 kids, a dog, a cat, a husband with a phat check want to hear about trannies getting ditched? Huh? They wouldn't.
